Submission to the Faculty - through your Dashboard:
- Final Report on the activities carried out during the program;
- PhD thesis.
- Registration for the final exam according to the procedure and deadlines indicated by the Student Secretariat.
- The report and the doctoral thesis will be sent to the reviewers directly from the system.
- Within 60 days of receiving the thesis
the reviewers send their analytical judgment, which includes the following three options:
- the thesis is considered fully acceptable, both substantially and formally: the doctoral student may be admitted directly to the final exam and may not make any changes to the thesis;
- the thesis requires modest corrections/additions, which do not affect its general value: the candidate will have two weeks to modify the thesis accordingly, without however the reviewers being called to a new revision;
- the thesis requires substantial changes/additions and is not considered acceptable in the version submitted for evaluation, the student will have the time indicated by the reviewers (from 1 to 6 months) to modify the thesis in accordance with the requests. In the latter case, the revised thesis will be sent to the reviewers for the new judgment, which must be received within the following 15 days.
- If the revised thesis is received in time for sending it to the commission for the final exam, it will be admitted to the discussion relating to the relevant cycle; otherwise, the discussion of the thesis will take place with the commission for the final exam which will be appointed for the next cycle.
- Once the procedure has been completed, the PhD students will receive a call from the Student Secretariat to discuss the thesis in front of the commission for the final exam.
