Admission to the subsequent year is subject to evaluation by the Faculty of TIM PhD Program on the basis of:
Participation in training activities (courses, seminars, workshops) in accordance with the study plan and as specified in the individual training plan. Attendance at courses offered internally by the PhD programme is recognised only if a minimum attendance of 75% of the scheduled hours for each activity is ensured, as certified by the attendance register. Participation in external training activities (such as courses, seminars, workshops, Summer/Winter Schools) is recognised only if supported by appropriate certification issued by the lecturer or the organising institution.
Preparation of the end-of-year report, to be presented during the annual workshop, describing the progress of the research in line with the themes of the PhD programme. The report should highlight the scientific objectives, expected impacts, innovative contributions with respect to the literature, the methodology adopted, the interdisciplinary approach, and any collaborations. The report must also include information on additional training activities undertaken, publications, and participation in scientific events.
Evaluation of the doctoral pathway provided by the supervisor and the co-supervisor, covering the research and training activities carried out, the level of autonomy achieved, and the progress of the project in relation to the agreed research plan.

The final report describing all the activities carried out during the PhD pathway, including, but not limited to, research and teaching activities, scientific publications, attended events, conferences and seminars, courses.
